Our Vision

CEM envisions a society that is low-carbon, sustainable and equitable, wherein lifestyle and consumption patterns respect the carrying capacity of our Mother Earth for the benefit of the present generation and those to come.

Caring for our Environment-Manitoba has launched and participated in several environment related activities!

Some of the notable events are CEM’s participation in community events such as the Manitoba Filipino Street Festival, FoodTrip and PCCM (Philippine Canadian Centre in Manitoba) Foodfest to raise public awareness on waste recycling and reduction, CEM Talks around the issues of climate change, green and climate resilient economy, electronic waste, organic gardening, money-saving energy-saving tips for winter, litter cleanup and seedling, Christmas and Winnipeg Harvest fundraisers.

Caring for our Environment-Manitoba will be at Eraserheads' Concert at RBC Convention Centre this June 9, 2023! You can bring your old batteries for recycling.
